Summerfest International Folk Festival

Summerfest Schedule Kiosk Signs Capturing the vibrant energy and inspiring stories of cultures around the world was my goal each year as I crafted the visual identity of Summerfest International Folk and Art Festival. Here are colorful kiosk signs that got guests excited for the performances, and told them when to visit the stages.

Call-for-Proposals Flyer The design of this flyer responded to the geometric and atmospheric qualities of the art in the photo. I took a photograph that included realistic representational art and non-traditional contemporary art so that artists in both categories would know that this applied to them.

Silent Film Festival Promo The lovably bewildered Charlie Chaplin was the star of the promotional material I designed for the BDAC Silent Film Festival. I chose fonts reminiscent of the period ranging from turn-of-century to early Art Deco, the era of silent films.
3D Printed Violin Workshop Event Cover Innovative technology, music, and DIY intersected in this workshop, and I wanted the viewer to feel that at a glance. In this Facebook event cover image I accented the skeletal, alien form of the 3D printed violin with rhythmically repeated hexagons.
